Schedule: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

Help Build Successful Projects from the Ground Up

We're looking for a detail-oriented Concrete Estimator to join our growing construction team. In this role, you'll be responsible for analyzing project plans, preparing accurate cost estimates, and helping ensure projects begin with a strong financial foundation. Your expertise in concrete construction, estimating software, and construction mathematics will play a key role in delivering competitive and profitable bids.

What You'll Do

• Review construction plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate project estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete materials, labor, and equipment.
• Develop competitive cost estimates while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Utilize estimating software, including PlanSwift and Bluebeam Revu, to prepare takeoffs and proposals.
• Calculate concrete quantities, including footings, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and other structural elements.
• Review project specifications to determine concrete mix designs, PSI requirements, and material specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors during the estimating process.
• Assist with vendor pricing and subcontractor quotations.
• Verify estimates through a quality control review process before submission.
• Maintain organized project files and estimating documentation.

• Support project handoffs to operations following successful bid awards.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has 2–3 years of experience estimating concrete construction projects.
• Can confidently interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys solving complex challenges.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and construction math skills.
• Works well independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.

• Is dependable, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of concrete estimating experience.
• Proficiency with PlanSwift and Bluebeam Revu .
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of concrete materials and construction methods.
• Solid construction math skills, including quantity takeoffs and volume calculations.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience will stand out:

• ACI Certification(s).
• Previous hands-on concrete field experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience negotiating material and subcontractor pricing.

• Familiarity with bid preparation and project cost analysis.
