Schedule: Full-Time | Four 9-hour evening shifts | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 5:00 PM2:00 AM

Compensation: $24$30/hour + $5/hour Overnight Shift Differential

Bulger Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician, Emergency to join our Emergency & Critical Care team in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Schedule:

Responsibilities As an Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Triage emergency patients and support the intake process
• Guide clients through their pet's treatment and care plan
• Collaborate closely with DVMs on diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• Perform anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery care
• Place IV catheters and collect laboratory samples
• Assist with radiographs, imaging, surgeries, and emergency procedures
• Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in condition
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
• Deliver exceptional patient care and client service in a fast-paced emergency setting

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting required
• CVT, LVT, or RVT preferred, but not required
• Strong anesthesia and patient monitoring skills
• Emergency or critical care experience preferred
• Confidence with catheter placement, laboratory work, and technical nursing skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
• Strong communication skills and commitment to exceptional patient care
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
