Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Inpatient to the Behavioral Health group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. NCB is a 213-bed community hospital providing quality care in a friendly and setting. This facility provides a range of services, and is known for its outstanding Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric and Specialty Ambulatory services. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:Work with an experienced multidisciplinary clinical staff to provide hands-on direct clinical assessment, diagnosis, acute stabilization and management, crisis intervention and care, and appropriate disposition for a cohort of inpatients.Responsibility for clinical and educational activities on a 23-bed acute adult inpatient unit, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team.Direct supervision of Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatric PA staff and Medical Students.Participate in all activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and student supervision, education & training.Participate in our innovative integrative care activities.Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry.Completion of an approved Psychiatry residency training program.MD or DO from accredited school of medicine.License to practice medicine in the State of NY.Wages and Benefits include:Annual Base Salary: $267,900* (board eligible); $278,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690** (board eligible) and $450,020** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
