Senior AP Lead II

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior AP Lead II to join their team in Scottsdale, AZ (North Scottsdale). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and financial reporting, with the ability to transform raw accounting data into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• AP Department Lead providing support and guidance to AP Clerk
• Timely and accurate entry of all internal check requests, external vendor invoices, and bank deposits.
• Process invoice payments and check distributions under the guidance and approval of the Controller.
• Maintain files for all payables.
• Experience with financial report writing, transforming raw AP accounting data into clear, actionable reports that highlight business performance, including what changed and why.
• Sage Intacct experience is highly preferred, but candidates with other ERP systems experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Senior AP experience
• Experience with financial reporting writing required
• Bachelor's in Accounting preferred
• Sage Intacct very highly preferred

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, during first shift hours.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
