Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to women and newborns before, during, and after labor.
• Function as a Baby Nurse during delivery and manage neonatal care immediately postpartum.
• Circulate during C-sections and assist with high-risk deliveries.
• Administer and manage heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate therapies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using EPIC charting system.
• Float between postpartum, antepartum, and mother/baby units as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact licensure honored at Swedish facilities.
• Minimum 3-5 years of high acuity and high-risk experience in labor and delivery.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required; AWHONN certifications preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic fetal monitoring and charting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with 500-600 deliveries per month.
• Strong clinical references with experience in supervisory roles.
