Mancan is working with a hotel and restaurant in Millersburg looking for an experienced line cook. Pay starts at $15 per hour but may increase with experience. Hours will vary. Must be available weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, standards, and customer preferences.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control align with restaurant standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, including prep work and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service. Requirements:
- Prior line cook experience in a full-service restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
