Mental Health Support Specialist

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Assistant to support psychiatric patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will engage in therapeutic communication, observe patient behavior, and assist with daily activities, reporting any changes to the charge nurse. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, boundaries, and adherence to safety protocols.
