About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Project Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of project finance ratings across various sectors, including energy, digital infrastructure, transportation, and public-private partnerships. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 years' experience in credit analysis, particularly in the context of project finance. Key responsibilities include serving as the lead analyst on transactions, conducting in-depth financial and legal reviews, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from issuers to investors. The role demands a high level of expertise in financial modeling, and the ability to communicate credit drivers and risks effectively through rating reports and presentations. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field, with a preference for those holding a CFA or MBA. A strong background in the power sector, infrastructure, and financial markets is essential, as is experience in legal review of contracts and financial agreements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in credit analysis, with experience in project finance, and a deep understanding of the North American infrastructure industry. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong research, analytical, and communication skills, who is capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is willing to travel as necessary.
