We are searching for a Senior Analytics Program Manager for our healthcare insurance client . In this position, you will lead the planning and delivery of analytics products, decision-support tools, and technical solutions that improve clinical and operational effectiveness across the organization.

This role combines technical program management, analytics leadership, product ownership, and cross-functional delivery. You will establish roadmaps, manage competing priorities, translate business needs into actionable technical requirements, and partner closely with stakeholders, development teams, and technical leadership.

This is a temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time employment. Conversion is not guaranteed. Candidates should be interested in both the contract opportunity and potential long-term employment with the client.

You are an experienced technical program leader who can bring structure to ambiguous goals and guide complex analytics initiatives from strategy through delivery. You understand data, analytics platforms, and software development well enough to communicate effectively with technical teams while keeping stakeholders aligned around business outcomes.

You are comfortable owning roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, managing dependencies, removing delivery obstacles, and making informed decisions about scope, quality, timelines, and resources. You can operate independently, influence across teams, and translate sophisticated technical concepts into clear, actionable plans.

What you’ll do

• Oversee the development, implementation, and management of analytics and decision-support systems that improve clinical and operational effectiveness.
• Create, maintain, and communicate short- and long-term roadmaps for the products, services, and solutions owned by the team.
• Deliver products and technical solutions that meet user, business, and stakeholder needs without sacrificing quality, security, or long-term value.
• Translate business priorities into technical requirements, user stories, tasks, and actionable delivery plans.
• Own backlog prioritization, grooming, user-story review, and clarification sessions.
• Drive delivery through effective planning, scope management, task definition, cross-team coordination, risk management, and continual improvement.
• Manage and communicate project dependencies, resource considerations, release plans, technical issues, and architecture-related decisions.
• Partner closely with development leadership to understand architecture and provide feedback on technical design.
• Use data-driven analysis to identify business needs, actionable insights, opportunities, and solution requirements.
• Establish and report on key performance indicators and the overall health of products and solutions.
• Coordinate support escalations and recommend actions that protect delivery timelines, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure legal, security, privacy, and quality requirements are embedded throughout the delivery process.
• Improve processes and procedures across multiple teams to maintain alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Provide direction, mentorship, and coaching to technical team members.
• Independently identify gaps and influence solutions both within the immediate team and across the organization.

What we’re looking for

• Advanced technical program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, analytical tools, and technical approaches used to build decision-support solutions.
• Advanced research, quantitative analysis, statistical analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to apply and interpret quantitative data to support organizational decision-making.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent projects, competing priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders.
• Advanced experience with data-analysis applications such as SAS and Microsoft Excel .
• Experience with data extraction and querying languages such as SQL .
• Experience with data-visualization platforms such as Tableau .
• Ability to create rigorous research and statistical methodologies and execute work in alignment with an established research plan.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business partners, managers, and executives.
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated through progressively increasing responsibility.
• Ability to work from ambiguous goals and develop technical solutions that create concrete, incremental value.
• Experience using AI tools and technologies to enhance professional productivity and decision-making is highly desired.
• Scrum Master certification is preferred.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and approximately 15 years of technical program management experience are preferred. A master’s degree is also preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

• Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required
• Occasional local or out-of-state travel may be required
• Home internet must be provided through cable modem, DSL, or fiber
• Satellite and mobile Wi-Fi connections are not supported
• Candidates may need to connect the client-issued computer directly to their router or modem
