Position: Vascular Surgeon – Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Type: Full-Time, Non-Tenure Clinical Track Department: Surgery / Cardiovascular Center Location: Jacksonville Campus, University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville Job Number: 538032 Overview The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center at UF COM-Jacksonville seeks a board-certified or eligible Vascular Surgeon with fellowship training to join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team. The role includes patient care, teaching, research, and involvement in a growing vascular surgery practice with focus on endovascular therapies. Responsibilities Provide high-quality inpatient and intermediate care in Vascular Surgery. Evaluate and treat aortic diseases, lower extremity occlusive disease, complex hemodialysis access, and venous diseases. Participate in clinical teaching of residents, fellows, and students. Communicate effectively with primary care physicians and assist in program marketing. Engage in administrative duties, division meetings, and institutional committees. Qualifications MD or DO with fellowship training in Vascular Surgery. Board eligible or certified in Vascular Surgery preferred. Broad clinical experience in vascular surgery, particularly endovascular therapies. Preferred Experience with aortic diseases, lower extremity occlusive disease, complex hemodialysis access, and venous diseases.
