Job Description

This position requires an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) who will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate must be available to respond to calls within 30 minutes of the facility and may float between like units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative settings.
• Assist with endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during all stages of care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients and manage sedation and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar role.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required before start date.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
