Our line cooks are a huge part of why our guests keep coming back again and again!(Heads-up: Weekend availability is a must!)Perks you'll enjoy:Tip pooling with both the front and back of houseFree meal during your shift and 30% off when you visit as a guestEmployee assistance programEmployee referral bonuses$10,000 company-paid life insuranceVoluntary benefits: preventative care plans, dental, vision, accident, and critical care insuranceFlexible medical and dependent care accounts401(k) with company matchPaid time off (available after 90 days)What you'll be doing:Prep and stock your station with everything you'll need for the shiftCook guest orders to recipe standards — including special requestsMake sure every plate looks great, tastes amazing, and hits our ticket time targetsCommunicate and work closely with kitchen leadership and teammatesFollow all safety and sanitation guidelines to keep food (and you) safeKeep your station and equipment clean and ready to goMonitor and log food temperatures for safetyProperly date, rotate, and store all food itemsTackle side work and extra projects with a great attitudeWhat we're looking for:A valid food handler's cardAt least 18 years of ageAbility to speak, read, and understand the primary language used at workSolid knowledge of different cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipmentAccuracy, speed, and consistency in executing ordersSomeone who can roll with the ups and downs of a busy dayGood judgment and teamwork (with manager support when needed)A positive attitude whether working independently or as part of the teamWorking conditions:Wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud kitchen noiseMust be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds regularlyMust be able to stand for long periods and move easily throughout the kitchenMorning and daytime hours only — no evening shifts!If you love fast-paced kitchens and creating craveable dishes, we'd love to meet you!
