Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking a Locum Pharmacist for a full-time night shift assignment. This is an auto-offer opportunity for qualified candidates with recent Epic experience.
Position Details:
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Assignment: 08/17/2026 – 10/11/2026
Schedule: Night Shift, 40 hours/week (4x10s)
Compensation: Up to $96/hour
Setting: 254-bed acute care hospital
EMR: Recent Epic experience (within the last 12 months) required
Requirements:
Active California Pharmacist license
Recent Epic experience within the last 12 months required
Inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience preferred
PharmD preferred
Responsibilities:
Verify and dispense medication orders
Monitor medication therapies for safety and effectiveness
Provide clinical pharmacy support and drug information
Identify and resolve medication-related issues
Participate in medication management and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to optimize patient care
Additional Information:
Every other weekend required
On-call responsibilities for certain scheduled shifts
Vaccination requirements apply per facility policy
