Underwriting Support Associate Account Manager

IAT Insurance Group has openings for Underwriting Support Associate Account Managers in our Alpharetta, Georgia office. The specific title for this role (e.g. Associate, Senior, etc.) will be commensurate with the experience level of the selected candidate. Underwriting Support Associate Account Managers provide overall day-to-day customer service and support to underwriters and act as a liaison between the organization and agents to ensure needs are met. IAT works on a hybrid schedule: office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday. Responsibilities Enter schedules into proprietary rating systems. Establish and maintain good working relationships with underwriters and agents. Prepare account service-related documents such as proposals and other client communications and correspondence. Assist in the renewal process, reviewing for accuracy and making requested renewal changes. Document new business declines and non-renewals. Summarize loss runs. Review all company correspondence to ensure applicability to client needs. Answer and process internal information requests. Review policies, endorsements, and reporters for accuracy and compliance. Follow up with agencies on policy subjectivities and missing underwriting information. Ensure all required documentation and communication is sorted and filed for ease of access. Retrieve loss cost reports and other property rating reports as needed for the underwriter. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred). At least 2 years of relevant insurance experience (equivalent defined as having 2 years of experience). Knowledge of basic mathematics and problem‑solving techniques. Mastery level PC and keyboarding skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels of associates and external sources. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.). Detail and action oriented. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven production environment. Ability to organize, set, and maintain priorities. Ability to adapt to change. Authorized to work in the United States and not requiring, now or in future, visa sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Underwriting support experience.
