POSITION OVERVIEW: The Customer Service Coordinator provides timely customer service support to the organization by accurately obtaining and analyzing customer order information and taking corrective actions as needed to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Contribute to team efforts by building and maintaining strong business relationships with new and existing customers through established service standards.
• Serve as a liaison with outside sales representatives, territory managers, service personnel, inside sales engineers, and production departments.
• Open and maintain customer records by recording account information.
• Develop a fundamental knowledge of our products to ensure customers receive the right product for their applications.
• Provide feedback to customers and colleagues on stocking levels, order status, order tracking, service contracts, and repair order status.
• Enter customer orders into the ERP system and communicate order confirmations to customers.
• Handle order demands and assist technically to ensure orders are processed accurately.
• Process invoices and credit memos for customer orders.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
• Produce domestic and international shipping documents.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide a high level of professionalism with customers and team members.
• Ability to work accurately with numbers and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Moderate to advanced skills in all MS Office programs, customized databases, and service support programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate with 2+ years of experience in a technical customer service environment.
• Sage SalesLogix. Highly preferred
• AA or AS degree in business or manufacturing.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience in Microsoft Navision is a plus.
• Sage SalesLogix.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Physical Demand(s): Can lift up to 10 lbs, sitting for reasonable periods of time.
• Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at a computer monitor for reasonable periods of time.
• Hazard(s): Manufacturing environment.
