General Assistant

Duties include, but are not limited to: Handle outreach to assistants both verbally and via email to get overflow work tasks each week which include deal entry, issuing contracts, requesting past due contracts/deposits, etc. Collaborate with assistants each day on all assigned tasks and update tracking grid for each task as it is both received and completed, ensuring adhesion to deadlines. Assist in overflow ticket count collection for assigned tours, adhering to the specified schedule for sending these counts to artist management. Compile and distribute daily updates company-wide including: festival offers, avails for artists and daily artist show reports. Retrieve upcoming shows from our booking system and send the “Guest List” email company-wide for shows that are scheduled to play from Tuesday to Monday. Possible desk coverage assignments when assistants are using PTO. General ad-hoc projects as they arise. Required Skills and Experience: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable speaking on the phone as it is a critical component of this position. Ability to build and maintain relationships internally. Previous administrative experience in a similar role and a proficiency using Microsoft Suite preferred. Location: In-office, preferably in our Nashville office - though we’re also open to candidates based in our New York, NY office (Lower East Side). Job Type: Full-time Salary: $42,500.00 per year plus overtime Schedule: Monday through Friday, evenings and weekends as-needed.
