Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Heart Rate required Must-Have: Epic Stork experience is required Experience with fetal heart monitoring is required Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs is required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The RN will provide care to patients before, during, and after labor and delivery. Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and assisting with OB procedures. The average daily census is approximately 5 deliveries. The RN will work a night shift of 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Floating to the Mother-Baby Unit or NICU may be required. The position requires recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Experience with external fetal monitoring is essential. This role is open to first-time travelers. The facility supports interdisciplinary services including respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Primary patient diagnoses are related to obstetric concerns. Travelers must already possess Epic experience, as training is not provided.
