Senior Auditor

A premier, full-service accounting firm located in the Inland Empire is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their organization. The Audit and Accounting Senior is responsible for organizing client engagements following firm best practices including the completion of engagement tasks and project components as well as coaching, advising, and directing team members in meeting client, and self-development expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead one or more client engagements which include planning, executing, directing and completing financial statement audits or reviews simultaneously, ensuring overall success of each project.
• Drafts client reports including financial statements and other required correspondence ensuring disclosure and mathematical accuracy with minimal errors.
• Able to prepare intermediate level tax provisions.
• Establishes work schedules through effective use of project management techniques. Communicating and keeping other team members informed of progress and timing of deliverables.
• Works as an effective team member to complete engagement components and engagement tasks within allowable budget criteria.
• Identifies opportunities to improve engagement profitability and identifies any risk management issues.
• Shares and transfers knowledge within the team.
• Successfully directs and maintains a motivated and empowered work team.
• Advises and coaches team members, provides consistent recognition and encouragement to team members, and sets an example by demonstrating high energy levels and enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• 3+ years of public accounting experience required senior
• CPA Eligible or CPA license
• Experience in commercial audits and reviews (EBP audit experience a plus)
