Position

Anesthesiologist opportunity at Parrish Medical Center, Titusville, FL.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.
• Pre‑anesthesia assessment.
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of patient physiological condition.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX credentials.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Current physician license.

Shift Schedule

17 weeks of days, 17 weeks of in‑house call or beeper call within 20‑30 minutes call‑back time, and 17 weeks off.
