Location & Salary Location: Candidates must live within commuting distance of the Washington, DC office. Salary Range (DC Office): $85,000 - $95,000 (Lower if not working out of the DC office). Role Overview The Manager, Learning & Continuing Education (CE) is accountable for ensuring DIA’s educational activities are in compliance with the standards and regulations set by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Project Management Institute (PMI), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). In addition, the Manager is accountable for ensuring DIA’s certificate programs are in compliance with the ANSI/ASTM E2659 standards. Key Responsibilities Monitor, document, and ensure all educational events are developed in compliance with ACPE, IACET, and PMI guidelines. Determine credit for each event and assign appropriate certificate program units. Collaborate with accreditation partners to offer CME and nursing credits. Establish agreements with accreditation partners and process invoices. Participate in educational program planning calls and communicate disclosure policy/process. Work with program committees and faculty to develop learner assessments. Oversee collection of disclosure information and facilitate conflict of interest (COI) review and mitigation. Review educational materials for measurable objectives, appropriate accreditation language, and fair balance. Analyze evaluation data to identify improvements and new content opportunities. Serve as an expert for CE setup in the association management system and oversee the online credit request system (My Transcript). Oversee CPE monitoring system and resolve data issues. Provide customer support regarding continuing education credit requests. Conduct annual CE program reviews and lead accreditation application processes and site visits. Manage certificate programs in accordance with ANSI/ASTM E2659 standards. Lead Americas public training offerings and customized training courses, including faculty management and content review. Facilitate live virtual training courses and manage client relationships for customized training. Implement outcomes evaluations for learning activities. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required (major in science, education, or related field preferred). Experience: Minimum of 5 years overall work experience, with at least 2 years in continuing education programs within the pharmaceutical/healthcare field. Knowledge: Mastery of ACPE and IACET guidelines. Working knowledge of ACCME and PMI guidelines. Knowledge of ANSI guidelines for certificate programs. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional systems design. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AMS (Personify). Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects. Excellent collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
