Surgical Tech - CVORLocation: Lafayette, CO 80026 Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension) Local Pay: $53/hr. on W2 Travel Pay: $2062.21/Weekly (Blended) Shift: 3 × 12-Hour Day Shifts | 30-Minute Call ResponseJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist with strong Cardiovascular (CV/Cardio) experience to support surgical procedures and maintain a safe, sterile operating-room environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on scrubbing experience and be confident assisting surgeons throughout operative procedures.Job Duties:Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.Maintain the sterile field and ensure all surgical items meet sterilization and safety requirements.Assist surgeons during procedures while following established ORT scope of practice.Recognize and appropriately respond to sharps, fire safety, and emergency situations.Assist with sterile processing, room turnover, cleaning, and preparation for subsequent procedures.Work closely with the surgical team, including Registered Nurses and surgical services management, to support safe and efficient operations.Requirements:Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular (CV/Cardio) experience as a Surgical Technologist.Colorado Surgical Technologist License (DORA) – Required.NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Required.BLS certification through AHA – Required.
