Quality Engineer

Twin City Staffing is seeking an experienced quality engineer to join a precision manufacturing team! If you have experience with CMM programming, GD&T, first article inspections, and driving quality improvements in a machining environment, this direct-hire opportunity offers excellent pay, a four-day workweek, and long-term career growth.


Location: East Bethel, MN


Wage: $70,000 - $85,000/year


Hours: 5:45 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday - Thursday

Duties of the quality engineer:

• Program and maintain Calypso CMM inspection programs for new and existing parts
• Develop inspection plans, first article documentation (AS9102), and quality standards
• Perform first article inspections, capability studies, and production quality audits
• Review customer drawings, GD&T, and specifications to ensure compliance
• Troubleshoot quality issues and collaborate with machinists to improve processes

Requirements of the quality engineer:

• 2+ years of Calypso CMM programming experience
• 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience in a machining environment
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measuring equipment
• Experience with AS9102, PPAP, SPC, and root cause analysis
