Big Country Builders of Texas is seeking a dependable, hardworking team member with experience in residential remodeling and general construction. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, shows up ready to work, and enjoys working on a variety of residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential remodeling and renovation work.
- Framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation and repair.
- Interior and exterior painting.
- Flooring installation (LVP, tile, etc.).
- Cabinet installation and finish work.
- Door and window installation.
- Basic plumbing and electrical repairs (within experience and applicable regulations).
- Siding, fascia, soffit, and exterior repairs.
- General punch list items and jobsite cleanup.
- Work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Experience in multiple aspects of residential remodeling.
- Ability to read a tape measure and safely operate hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and solve problems.
- Dependable with excellent work ethic.
- Having your own tools is a bonus
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in Texas weather.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Must pass a background check if required.
Compensation
Pay is based on experience and skill level.
