Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$1958.40/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients' health status and monitor fetal and maternal vital signs.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and perform procedures such as Cytotec or Cervidil as prescribed.
  
  
• 
  Assist with various obstetric procedures including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate patient care with a multidisciplinary team including OB Techs and Unit clerks.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on labor, delivery, and postpartum care, ensuring understanding and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Skilled in fetal monitoring and postpartum care.
  
  
• 
  Experience with obstetric procedures and neonatal catching preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts as required.
  
  
• 
  Strong compassionate and caring personality aligned with unit culture.
