Job Summary  

The Material Management Associate is responsible for managing inventory levels, replenishing medical supplies, and ensuring uninterrupted patient care across hospital departments. This role involves receiving, inspecting, stocking, and distributing medical equipment and supplies while maintaining accurate records and adhering to hospital safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Man age inventory levels and replenish medical supplies across hospital departments
2. Receive, inspect, stock, and distribute medical equipment and supplies
3. Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movement, monitor usage, and prevent shortages
4. Collaborate with clinical staff to fulfill supply requests and ensure timely delivery of essential materials
5. Maintain organized storage areas in compliance with hospital safety, quality, and infection-control standards

Required Qualifications

1. H igh School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
2. Prior experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, preferably in healthcare settings
3. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
4. Ability to use inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications
5. Effective communication and collaboration skills with clinical staff

Preferred Qualifications

1. Exp erience in hospital or healthcare material management
2. Knowledge of infection-control standards and hospital safety procedures
3. Familiarity with ERP or healthcare inventory systems

Certifications

• N one required; relevant certifications in supply chain or healthcare materials management are a plus
