Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be tasked with conducting quality checks on a variety of prototype parts within the Aerospace industry. You will leverage your expertise in GD&T to analyze blueprints and 3D models to determine appropriate quality checks. Additionally, you will utilize various gauges and video comparators to ensure precise quality assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on prototype parts for the Aerospace industry.
• Study blueprints and 3D models using GD&T to determine necessary quality checks.
• Accurately execute quality checks utilizing gauges and video comparators.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in GD&T and interpreting GD&T symbology on blueprints.
• Ability to read blueprints effectively.
• Experience using micrometers and calipers.
• Background in a machine shop and experience with machining.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a machine shop or inspecting machined parts is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled facility during 1st shift hours from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, totaling a 50-hour workweek. The workplace offers a comfortable setting conducive to focused and precise work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
