Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Austin, TX, responsible for driving membership growth and supporting daily studio operations. This position assists in managing the sales process from lead generation and tour presentations to closing memberships and ensuring member satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and engaging prospective members, explaining HOTWORX programs and benefits, handling membership inquiries, and maintaining accurate sales and member records. The role also supports marketing initiatives, helps coordinate studio events and promotions, ensures a clean and welcoming environment, and collaborates with the Studio Manager and team to meet sales targets and performance goals. The Assistant Sales Manager serves as a key ambassador of the HOTWORX brand, providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive, motivational atmosphere for members and staff. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong sales and customer service skills, including lead follow-up, membership sales, and relationship building. Candidates should possess skills in communication and interpersonal interaction, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to engage diverse members and prospects. Candidates should possess basic administrative and organizational skills, such as record-keeping, scheduling, and attention to detail in handling member accounts. Candidates should possess marketing and promotion skills, including comfort with social media outreach, local marketing initiatives, and supporting studio events that drive traffic and membership. Candidates should possess basic fitness and wellness knowledge, with an interest in infrared training and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles. Relevant qualifications include prior experience in retail, fitness, hospitality, or membership-based sales; ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; and proficiency with point-of-sale and CRM or membership management systems.
