# Job Opportunity – Infectious Disease Physician – Ohio

Start Date: ASAP (after mid-October)

Location: Ohio

Compensation: Competitive locums rates provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage (5:00 PM to 7:00 AM); every other weekend rotation

Highlights:

• Inpatient consult-based practice with 5-10 consults daily (new and follow-up patients)
• Manageable patient volume with occasional wound center consultations
• Open ICU model with hospitalist and pharmacy support
• EPIC electronic medical records system
• Minimal antibiotic stewardship responsibilities
• Long-term locums assignment lasting at least one year

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Infectious Disease (if 5+ years post-residency/fellowship) or Board Eligible (if less than 5 years)
• Active state medical license preferred; IMLC candidates considered
• Clean malpractice history and no employment gaps for temporary privileges eligibility
• Ability to perform typical procedures for the specialty
• Experience with inpatient rounding, consults, and interdisciplinary collaboration
