La Lucha offers a high energy, funky alternative to Superica next door with a unique and indulgent menu with influences from chef Ford Fry's childhood memories of over-the-top dining at the San Jacinto Inn.
La Lucha is seeking a hard-working Cook to join our dynamic culinary team!
High energy and passion to serve the Houston Heights community are the keys to success for a La Lucha Cook. The Cook is responsible for following recipes and standards and using precise culinary techniques to produce high-quality food, ensuring exceptional guest experiences every time. He/she must be able to manage his/her station while communicating successfully with the rest of the team and expediting food items on the back line in an efficient and timely manner. The ideal candidate is a quick learner that exhibits proactive thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise. Competitive pay - $16 to $24/hr. - based on experience and ability.
