Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by medical professionals to assess their physical health and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the physician's directives and patient goals, applying research-driven techniques to optimize recovery.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise programs tailored to each patient's unique conditions.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Serve as an integral member of the healthcare team, participating in case discussions and developing strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide ongoing education and training to patients and their caregivers about relevant therapies and self-management strategies to facilitate their recovery.
• Exemplify outstanding customer service, maintaining positive interactions with patients and their families to foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients with developmental challenges, neurologic diagnoses, and athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in diverse settings, preferably in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for patient interaction and documentation.
