Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Stretch Synaptic Therapy Services, you will:

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of patients' muscle function, mobility, pain levels, and overall physical capabilities, all in line with the established plan of care.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the precise execution of therapy interventions and to support their professional development.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic and prognostic tools to assess patient needs and track progress.
• Assess patients' home environments and propose modifications that enhance safety and promote greater independence.
• Provide hands-on therapy and rehabilitative treatments, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed while communicating updates to physicians and the broader clinical team.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies that align with each client's overall healthcare plan.
• Educate patients and their families on the use and care of physical therapy devices and practices to foster their commitment to rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, care plans, and discharge summaries to ensure continuity of care and compliance with agency regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of conditions related to orthopedic issues, neurological disorders, and post-surgery rehabilitation. You will directly impact patients' recovery journeys, ensuring they regain strength, mobility, and independence, all while addressing their unique needs and goals within the outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with further specialization preferred.
• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• Possess a current, valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also showing independence in clinical decision-making.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient rehab facility is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
