Anchored within a 300+ bed regional medical center , the Assistant Nurse Manager Operating Room helps coordinate care across modern inpatient and ambulatory suites, PACU, pre-op, and sterile processing. With 35,000+ surgical cases performed across the system annually throughout 15 ORS , the surgical services department plays a critical role in delivering complex, high-acuity care to patients across the Central Valley. A rich case mix includes orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery, cardiovascular, general, GYN, urology, ENT, and trauma, guided by ERAS pathways and precision perioperative workflows. As a Perioperative Assistant Nurse Manager, the role supports safe throughput, accurate scheduling, OR utilization optimization, and seamless interdepartmental collaboration.

Reporting to the RN Manager of Perioperative Services , the Assistant Nurse Manager Operating Room partners closely with a Perioperative Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialists to champion evidence-based practice.
