Rejects products and materials not meeting specifications2. Performs audits on incoming, in process, and final products3. Analyzes and interprets blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required4. Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, installations, and works for conformance to specifications5. Discusses inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommends necessary corrective action6. Records inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and qualities inspected or graded7. Observes and monitors production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments8. Hand tools, such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers9.
