Senior Underwriter, Professional Liability / Cyber, National Accounts, Financial Lines

You will play a key role in delivering insurance solutions across various lines. Responsibilities Underwrite a range of new and renewal business in Professional Liability/Cyber, Financial Lines. Work closely with brokers to communicate risk appetite, value proposition, and understand deal structures, terms, and products. Negotiate pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients. Generate new business by expanding broker network, attending broker events, and building relationships across the market. Collaborate with AIG Distribution, territory managers, and other line underwriters to target desirable accounts and cross‑selling opportunities. Set a high standard of customer service for brokers and clients and serve as an example for junior colleagues. Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to less‑experienced underwriters and support them in building their broker network. Qualifications Proven underwriting experience with strong knowledge of Professional Liability/Cyber and Financial Lines. Ability to analyze financial statements. Strong communication, networking, and relationship building skills. Good organizational and time‑management skills. Customer and sales‑oriented behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable. Interest in mentoring and training even if no prior duties. Compensation & Benefits The base salary range is $108,000–$128,000, with additional bonus eligibility under the applicable incentive plan.
