If you're a compassionate professional who appreciates stimulating yet meaningful work, we warmly invite you to join our all-star team.Now hiring a Nurse Manager for First Shift (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm)!What You'll DoEnsure quality, compassionate, and timely medical care for every Avenues clientEnsure seamless coordination of client care between medical and clinical departments, UR team, external healthcare providers, and pharmaciesOversee all medication inventory, logs, and authorizations, lab shipments and reports, medical supplies and equipment etc.Oversee and direct all nursing and medical support staff (interviews, onboarding, training, retention, scheduling, shift coverage, HR needs, and performance reviews)Maintain medical workflow process and conduct ongoing reviews of protocol and operationsEnsure quality medical documentation and charting standards through weekly chart reviewWhat We're Looking ForMinimum one year diploma program post - high schoolone year experience in substance use treatment field preferredValid RN licensure necessary to practice nursing in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privilegesExcellent oral and written communication and critical thinking skillsStrong collaborative, multitasking, and time-management skillsNatural leadership abilities with commitment to excellenceWhere You'll WorkAvenues Recovery Center at Fort Wayne is a 100- bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services.
