About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred. Experience Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications Current RN License in New Jersey.
