Landscape Maintenance Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations for assigned landscape maintenance crews to meet production and quality standards.
• Assist with morning dispatch and ensure efficient crew starts each day.
• Manage daily route scheduling, work ticket assignments, and adjust short-range schedules for mowing, pruning, cleanups, and enhancement projects.
• Verify crew check-out information, including accurate time, material entries, and work documentation.
• Communicate regularly with crew leaders regarding schedules, staffing, training, and productivity.
• Address customer service issues, repairs, and service concerns as relayed by Account Managers.
• Complete daily attendance reporting and assist with employee reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance, storage, and use of equipment and tools.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and professional standards.
• Lead or assist with weekly training sessions during morning dispatch.
• Fill in for production crews when urgent needs arise.
• Participate in rotational closing duty, weekend duty, and winter snow-removal operations.
• Attend required department, management, safety, training, and company meetings.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in professional grounds maintenance, with strong knowledge of landscape maintenance operations including mowing, pruning, cleanups, enhancements, routing, and crew scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews, schedules, and production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, direct, coach, and hold team members accountable.
• Excellent organizational skills for both office and field operations.
• Effective communication skills with team members, managers, and clients.
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor under pressure.
• Commitment to safety, quality, labor efficiency, and schedule execution.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems, Google Docs, and electronic reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for company auto insurance.
• Familiarity with ASPIRE operating software (preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills (preferred).
