Distribution Associate | Covington, Georgia, United States Job Summary: Distribution Associate - Covington, GA (Contractor) About the Role Join a dynamic distribution team as a Distribution Associate in Covington, GA. As a vital part of our supply chain operations, you will process and ship customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This contractor position offers competitive weekend pay, hands-on experience with advanced material handling technology, and the opportunity to develop new warehousing skills. Responsibilities - Accurately process customer orders by scanning, picking, and labeling products - Build and palletize orders, ensuring secure and organized shipments - Use RF technology to process orders and maintain inventory accuracy - Verify order accuracy and package shipments for dispatch - Operate material handling equipment (MHE), including electric pallet jacks - Perform dock manifest duties such as scanning completed pallets and operating shrink wrappers - Serve as a backup for various warehouse functions and support team members as needed - Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area at all times Required Skills and Experience - Experience using RF scanners and handling distribution documents - Ability to operate material handling equipment and obtain electric pallet jack certification - Strong attention to detail with basic analytical and organizational skills - Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive warehouse tasks - High school diploma or GED preferred - At least 1 year of relevant warehouse or distribution experience preferred Preferred Skills - Familiarity with MHE (Material Handling Equipment) - Experience with dock manifest stations and shrink wrapping Benefits - Competitive pay: $16.50/hr (Friday), $19.50/hr (Saturday & Sunday) - Weekend shift: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Opportunities to cross-train and advance within warehouse operations - On-the-job training in advanced distribution technology - Supportive team environment with safety as a top priority How to Apply Ready to start your career in distribution?
