The firm is seeking motivated Insurance Defense Attorneys to join its fully remote litigation team across California. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys looking to handle sophisticated matters while maintaining work-life balance in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Handle all phases of insurance defense litigation including:
• Written discovery
• Depositions
• Law and motion practice
• Court appearances
• Mediations and settlement negotiations
• Trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Communicate directly with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and experts
• Develop litigation strategies and case evaluations
• Independently manage deadlines and case progression in a remote setting

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience preferred but open to other civil litigation.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$150,000 – $200,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
