As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. Day Time Wed 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Thur 04:00 PM - 01:00 AM
Sat 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Sun 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
