Kits Assembler – 1st Shift

Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM–2:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $17.00/hour
Overtime: May be required before the start of the shift. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.

Job Summary

Are you a dependable and detail-oriented individual looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity? We're seeking a Kits Assembler to join a growing team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll gather, organize, and assemble parts, hardware, and materials needed to support daily production and shipping operations.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, enjoys working with their hands, and can follow instructions to ensure kits are assembled accurately and efficiently. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Kits Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:

• Part Preparation: Gather, sort, and organize parts, hardware, and materials needed to complete production orders.

• Kit Assembly: Assemble kits using hand tools and work instructions to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Quality Inspection: Count, inspect, and verify components to ensure kits contain the correct materials.

• Packaging & Staging: Package completed kits and stage them for production use or shipment.

• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area while following established safety and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous assembly, warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience helpful but not required.

• Ability to lift 35–50 lbs as needed.

• Ability to stand and remain on your feet throughout the shift.

• Ability to work overtime before the scheduled shift as required.

Skills

• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately count, inspect, and assemble components according to work instructions.

• Hand Tool Operation: Comfortable using basic hand tools to complete assembly tasks.

• Organization: Ability to gather, sort, and organize materials efficiently.

• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to follow assembly instructions and learn basic production processes.

• Reliability: Dependable attendance and ability to complete assigned tasks independently.

• Quality Awareness: Ability to inspect completed kits and verify that components meet production requirements.
