Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with high school or alternative school populations preferred
• Strong background in direct service special education instruction
• Expertise in case management and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) writing
• Skilled at leading and participating in IEP meetings
• Confidence working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored, direct instruction to students in small group and individual settings
• Manage a manageable caseload with a focus on student growth and achievement
• Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs, keeping documentation up to date
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and planning with staff and families
• Work closely with other service providers to ensure comprehensive support for each student
