Provide specially designed instruction with a mix of direct service, small group, and one-on-one teaching, ensuring every learner’s needs are met. You’ll serve as a case manager, crafting and maintaining IEPs, leading meetings, and acting as a key resource for the students and their families.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for Colorado licensing)
• Experience creating and implementing IEPs
• Background working in alternative, non-traditional, or secondary school settings is a plus
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Passion for supporting high-needs learners in a small group environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, customized instruction to students in small group and one-on-one settings
• Manage caseloads, including direct service and case management
• Develop, write, and maintain IEPs; conduct and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate effectively with fellow educators, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support
• Foster an encouraging, inclusive classroom culture where every student can thrive
