Architectural Designer

Architectural Designer (1–3 Years of Experience) Location: Charleston, SC Are you an early-career architectural design professional looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all phases of design and project delivery? A respected and growing architecture firm specializing in civic, institutional, and mission-critical facilities is seeking an Architectural Designer to join its collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced architects and firm leadership while contributing to meaningful projects from concept through construction. Unlike larger firms where responsibilities are often narrowly defined, you'll gain broad project exposure, work directly with clients and consultants, and build the skills needed for long-term career growth and licensure .What You'll D Assist with multiple projects through various phases of design and construction Develop architectural drawings, construction documents, and technical details using Revit Support planning, programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders Research building materials, codes, and technical solutions Participate in construction administration activities, including site visits and submittal reviews Collaborate closely with project teams while receiving mentorship from senior architects Continuously develop technical and professional skills toward licensure Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program 1–3+ years of professional architectural experience (internship experience will be considered) Proficiency in Revit Understanding of construction documentation and architectural detailing Familiarity with building codes and building systems Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications Actively pursuing architectural licensure Experience with institutional, educational, civic, healthcare, commercial, or public-sector projects (K-12, higher ED, Healthcare, mission critical) Exposure to construction administration Interest in sustainable design and LEED principles Experience with specification writing is a plus Why Join?
