Job Title: Production and Packaging Associate Job Description

The Production and Packaging Associate works on a clean, FDA-regulated manufacturing line to sort, package, and inspect various plastic and personal care products. This role involves repetitive, hands-on tasks such as loading materials into cases, packing items into cartons, and visually inspecting labels, while standing for the majority of the shift in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and package plastic syringes as they come off the production line, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

• Load plastic materials into cases and prepare them for shipment or further processing.

• Inspect materials for correct and legible labels, verifying that all packaging meets quality and regulatory standards.

• Pack products such as shampoo, antibacterial soaps (PvP), and swab packets into cartons according to established procedures.

• Perform repetitive production and packaging tasks while maintaining focus and attention to detail throughout the shift.

• Stand for the entire shift while working on the production line in a cleanroom environment.

• Handle occasional lifting of items up to 40 pounds in a safe and controlled manner.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including wearing required protective gear and adhering to cleanliness standards.

• Operate basic production and packaging equipment as needed, following all safety and operational guidelines.

• Maintain an organized and clean work area to support efficient production and high-quality output.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in roles such as machine operator, general labor, assembly, or warehouse.

• Experience in production, general labor, or packaging environments.

• Ability to work effectively in a cleanroom setting and follow strict cleanliness and safety protocols.

• Capability to stand for an entire shift while performing repetitive tasks.

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds safely.

• Strong attention to detail for inspecting labels and packaging for accuracy and legibility.

• Reliability and consistency in following procedures and meeting production goals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine operation in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

• Background in assembly work, particularly in cleanroom or regulated facilities.

• Familiarity with FDA-regulated production processes and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

• Comfort working with personal care products such as shampoo, antibacterial soaps, and swab packets.

• Ability to adapt to repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Work Environment

This role is based in a very clean, FDA-regulated facility that operates under strict Good Manufacturing Practices. The position is on 2nd shift, working Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with occasional overtime on Fridays. The work takes place in a cleanroom environment, requiring adherence to dress and hygiene standards such as wearing hairnets, beard nets when applicable, and avoiding jewelry. The job is highly repetitive and requires standing for the entire shift, with occasional lifting up to 40 pounds. The facility is organized, safety-focused, and designed to support efficient production in a controlled, hygienic setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartland, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
