The primary focus of a Birthday Party Facilitator will be to provide a fun and engaging Snapology activity at local birthday parties! Birthday Party Facilitators are asked to promote creativity and teamwork while passively educating students through fun birthday party activities. These activities are very similar to the programs we conduct in the classroom. Parties are conducted for children ages 2-14, and are held at partner locations such as Urban Air. This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology Gig Harbor partners, as well as representing the team to parents & children with a high degree of professionalism. Must be available two weekends per month (Sat & Sun). Party shifts will be a 1.5-2 hours each. Possibility of multiple a day.

Lead groups of up to 24 participants through curriculum-guided birthday party activities primarily using LEGO bricks. Instruct and monitor participants in the use of learning materials and equipment. Manage participant behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures. Adequately prepare for each party by reviewing workshop guides. Picking up and dropping off equipment at nearby agreed upon location, such as the Gig Harbor classroom. Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs. Encourage students & parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs. Participate in periodic Snapology training & staff meetings, as required. Have fun, and help the participants have fun!

Criminal and Child Clearances must be current. Some experience working with children. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.

Competitive hourly rate depending on experience and availability. 20% off of all products and services. This position is part-time and occurs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Depending on candidate availability and the time of year, Birthday Party Facilitator typically work between 5-20 hours per week. Compensation: $22.50 per hour.
