Assistant Controller

Berthold Technologies, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Assistant Controller to join our growing Finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a hands‑on environment and enjoys improving processes while ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The Assistant Controller plays a key role within the Finance Department, supporting the Controller in managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This position requires strong accounting expertise, a proactive approach, and experience working with Acumatica ERP or a similar financial platform. The Assistant Controller will help ensure timely and accurate financial information while contributing to initiatives that enhance efficiency and strengthen financial processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities Support the Controller in overseeing daily accounting operations Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures Reconcile general ledger accounts and review financial transactions for accuracy Partner with cross‑functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy Assist with audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies Utilize Acumatica ERP (or similar systems) to support financial reporting and operational needs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Progressive accounting experience, including experience in financial reporting and general ledger management Experience with Acumatica ERP preferred; experience with comparable ERP systems will be considered Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial processes Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus If you're looking for an opportunity to make an impact within a dynamic organization and help drive financial excellence, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
