About This Role
A preschool teacher at our daycare creates a:
- safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.
- Designs and lead engaging activities
- Helps children build social and emotional skills
- Support their basic needs
- Monitor each child's progress and share their experiences with parents
As a preschool teacher you'll be responsible for:
- Planning and implementing curriculum and activities tailored to the needs of each child.
- You'll also support their social and emotional development
- Assist with basic needs
- Observe and report on their progress, and communicate with parents about their child's day
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and getting finger prints
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or coursework in early childhood education.
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
While not having benefits as a preschool teacher can be a downside, the joy and fulfillment of working with young children can outweigh that.
