Intermediate Business Analyst

Primary Function StraitSys is seeking professionals to support the FBI's Finance and Facilities Division (FFD) Huntsville Strategy Team (HST) in coordinating the realignment of FBI resources to Huntsville, Alabama. The position may also examine smaller transition opportunities to Clarksburg, West Virginia, and Pocatello, Idaho. The role focuses on evaluating current program structure, relocating employees, recruiting local talent, and ensuring alignment with the FBI’s Strategic Realignment Initiative. Essential Functions Develop and execute strategic communication plans aligned with organizational goals. Create communication products including presentations, briefings, executive messaging, newsletters, and reports. Oversee internal and external communications supporting workforce transitions. Manage stakeholder engagement to ensure consistent, effective communication across multiple audiences. Lead public relations and outreach activities to promote organizational priorities and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving multiple options in complex situations. Effective communication skills with a variety of stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least five (5) years of business analyst experience. Requirement may be waived if candidate has eight (8) or more years of relevant experience. Experience in comprehension, analysis, and interpretation of complex documents. Proficiency in presenting information and responding to sensitive issues. Active Top Secret Clearance required. Preferred Experience At least five (5) years of experience in communications, especially change‑management communications for government agencies. Experience developing and managing internal and external communication strategies. Knowledge of strategic messaging, media relations, and crisis communication. Proven ability to engage senior‑level stakeholders and government officials. Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
