Associate Product Development Manager, NPI Strategy

Zimmer Biomet is hiring an Associate Product Development Manager for upstream marketing in foot and ankle orthopedic devices. The role translates clinical needs into product solutions through market research, voice-of-customer activities, business case development, and cross-functional collaboration from concept through commercial readiness.

Responsibilities

Analyze market data including volumes, pricing, and global trends to segment portfolios
Conduct primary and secondary research through interviews, surveys, and cadaveric labs
Build and maintain financial business cases tracking revenue, costs, margins, and risks
Serve as upstream marketing lead on core product development teams through phase-gate reviews
Develop positioning, pricing strategies, and demand forecasts for product launches

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, life sciences, or related field
0-3 years of professional experience
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to obtain hospital credentialing and valid driver's license
Medical device, upstream marketing, or orthopedic experience preferred
